I called several roofers who either were not doing repairs or would come in 2 weeks! When I called … More Rival and left a message, Ramiro called right back and came that same day to take a look. Then he came to fix it on a Saturday morning at 7:30 as I was going to be leaving to go home. He was very professional, very nice and explained what the problem was with the installation of the roof. I haven't been back but am confident that Ramiro would stand by his work and come back if I needed him to. I would certainly use him again as I felt he was very trustworthy and honest and a very hard worker! I hope he will still be around when I need a new roof!

  9/16/23 paid Ramiro over half to install gutters, he told me he would have done 1 week 1/2 later - no word - 10/2 texted Ramiro 4 times when is he going to install gutters - NO RESPONSE - 10/3 Ramiro responds with excuses, workers no show … More (NOT MY PROBLEM) but his father will help him. 10/4 some gutters installed but raining & slippery on ladder, Ramiro asks to finish later & informs me wrong color end caps were ordered. 10/5 I texted Ramiro for update & when he's returning to finish - NO RESPONSE - 10/9 A.M.I texted Ramiro asking for update - Ramiro responds he will finish 10/10, finally completed. 11/3 I noticed a gutter on side of my house is leaking on the end cap side, I immediately sent a text and video of this to Ramiro requesting he tend to this with NO RESPONSE. I called over the weekend leaving several voicemails, nothing. 11/6 I texted Ramiro again asking if he was going to take care of the leak along with another voicemail & NO RESPONSE. So with that being said I'm very disappointed as a customer and since Ramiro continues to ignore me, it is clear he does not stand behind his work.

  Several others just gave a basic quote using satellite google.
  They evidently didn't want my business.

  Horrible company. I had them replace the roof on my house and garage because of hail damage. Since this was an insurance job they had a deadline that they had to finish the job by. Ramiro was aware of this and he agreed it would not be … More a problem to get it done before the insurance companies deadline. They did not start the job till months after the deadline. When the materials were delivered I had noticed that they were the wrong color. I contacted Ramiro about this and sent him pictures and he said he would look into it. When they finally showed up to install the new roof they never had the decency to let me know they were coming. When I got home from work that night I discovered they put the wrong color up even though I had told them it was the wrong color before. The house and garage did not match, one was charcoal gray and the other is white, it is a city ordinance that all roofs have to match, this is something they should know as"professionals".I called Ramiro and he would not answer and would not respond to texts. He finally contacted me about 5 months later looking for the other half of the payment. I told him I would not pay him because they put the wrong color on the garage, there were holes in the new roof were they missed screwing down the roof, there was a damaged panel on the house roof , thay had damaged a light on the garage, they pulled the outlet out of the wall were there battery chargers plugged into and they never cleaned up the job site. I had a garbage pile in my back yard that I had to keep cleaning up every time it was windy out. He agreed to fix everything but I had to pay the second half first because he could not afford to buy the replacement materials to finish the job. I had no choice but to pay him, they replaced the garage roof and picked up the garbage. Ramiro told me we would do a walk through to make sure everything was ok, i contacted him about the final walk through and no response, they disappeared and could not reach them. They never finished the job and never did anything to fix the damages that they caused. Rival roofing will not return my phone calls so I sent them a certified bill for the damages to my house. I gave them a deadline to pay the bill. They never payed the bill so I sent them to a collections agency, they have spoken to Ramiro and he will not return there calls either. Now I am out of pocket for the damages they caused.
  This review is just a shortened version of what all went on. To sum it up Ramiro is a dishonest crook that took advantage of someone in a bad spot. Rival roofing is unprofessional , incompetent and will not take responsibility for there mistakes and shortcomings.

  We liked that he has big equipment to handle a very large snow event— which does occur in Minnesota. He also shoveled our walkways, by our mailboxes, as well as some of the driveway near our back doors/ garage.
  We like that he responds to our texts— and we feel he will be responsive in the event our driveways need clearing for important doctor appointments.
