Types of Standing Seam Metal Roofing

Snap-Lock
Snap-lock roofing systems have special edges that snap together with a male leg and a female leg. It doesn’t require the standing seam metal roof contractor to hand or mechanically fasten because they are secured by a simple click in place. Since this requires less labor, it results in lower costs. Snap-lock roofing can be installed in any environment as long as it is installed according to manufacturer specifications.
Mechanical Lock

Batten Panel
Batten panel roofing systems have edges that line up together and are secured by a metal cap to create the seam. Depending on the type of cap, some are more secure than others. The more secure the cap, the better the roofing system will perform in inclement weather environments.
